Straight outta Seoul, South Korea, she conquered the American Dream and landed in sunny Los Angeles in 2022.

Nail salons were expensive, and she never had the time. Meanwhile, most DIY options—like press-ons—weren’t comfortable and didn’t look or feel right.

Kijibae was born from her passion to bring Korea’s DIY nail revolution to the United States.

In Korea, Kijibae is cheeky slang for "girl" or "baddie." It’s that friend who is bold, a little bossy, and always has her life together. We reclaimed the word to represent our community.
